Thanks to the hard work of the committee and generous donations and grants from a number of sources, an order for a new bus is about to be placed. The new bus is to be based on a Citroen Relay 30 van and will sport an internally mounted electric wheelchair lift at the rear (no more corrosion worries) and a side mounted manual step. The bus will have the capacity for 12 passengers. The total cost will be around £36,000.

2. The sponsors page is now closed, but donations towards running costs are always welcome.

3. The old bus is now up for sale please contact a committee member with your offers.

The rate for hiring the bus has been frozen for the last two years despite considerable increases in the cost of fuel.

Unfortunately we are having to increase the rate. The good news is that we have managed to hold the charge for the bus down to 40p per kilometer and the new rate is with immediate effect. The rate includes fuel and represents excellent value for money compared with other alternatives. The committee will continue to keep the the charge for the use of the bus as reasonable as possible.
